Job role: General Manager FM
Location: Ras Al Khaimah, UAE
Duties and Responsibilities:
Helps the Board of Directors in determining mission, vision, and short and long term goals, objectives, strategic, policies.
Informs the Board of Directors about trends, issues, problems and activities in order to facilitate policy making.
Manages the day to day operations, and ensures a smoothly functioning efficient organisation.
Assures program quality and organisational stability through development and implementation of standards and controls, systems and procedures and regulation evaluation.
Assures a work environment that recruits, retains and supports quality staff, process for selecting, development, motivating, and evaluating staff and volunteers.
Recommends staffing and financing to the Board of Directors, specifies accountabilities for management personnel and evaluates performance regularly.
Works with Board of Directors to enable the Board to fulfil its governance functions and facilitates the optimum performance focusing Board's attention on long range strategic issues.
Oversees the fiscal activities of the organisation including budgeting, reporting and audit. To evaluate the operational effectiveness of the company and initiate action plans required for improvement.
General awareness of QHSE policy and objectives, general health hygiene, safety and environmental risk, legal and other requirements. Responsible for safe working conditions, employee's health and safety at work and environmental concerns.
Graduate in Engineering or Master in Business Administration with 15 year's experience in similar field.
