Job role: Claim Defence Analyst
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Our client is a multi-national main contractor with a wealth of experience dealing with mega projects. Currently looking for a Claim Defence Analyst who has experience managing and liaising a multi discipline team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Reports to CM.
Preparation of and/or defending EOT claims including drafting letters and reports.
Fact finding - taking and gathering information and arguments from related departments.
Establishing chronology of facts of delay events.
Preparation of Fragnets for delay events.
Undertaking Time Impact Analysis (TIA) prospectively and retrospectively.
Assessing the impact of delays to subcontract programmes through Windows and / or Time Impact Analysis method.
Reviewing subcontractor performance against its programme and issue notice of slow rate of progress letters.
Assisting SAM for the service of notices of delay on subcontractors in collaboration with planning department.
Assisting the SAM to investigate and refute subcontractor delay notices.
Liaising with and advising the SAM of delaying events that require notice to be served on the subcontractor and providing supporting data.
Provision of strategic advice with respect to the successful negotiation and settlement of EOT disputes
Attendance at subcontract meetings in respect of EOT claims.
A claims practitioner able to work with high level of autonomy.
Proven track record in delay analysis and progress assessment.
Detailed understanding of time impact analysis (TIA) method of delay analysis.
Ability to work effectively with all members of a multidisciplinary, multicultural and multinational environment within the Contractor's team.
High Level of proficiency in Primavera P6 is essential.
Excellent understanding of construction contracts
Good written and spoken English
